The Woods Lake Trail is an access route to Navajo Lake. It is a more moderate route than accessing Navajo Lake from the Lizard Head pass side.

The trailhead begins from the Woods Lake Campground. From Telluride, take CO 145 towards Placerville. Take a left at Fall Creek Road and follow for eight miles to the Woods Lake Campground. The trailhead is located to the left of the picnic tables. The trail begins with a gradual incline and gets steeper as you get closer to the junction with the Navajo Lake trail.
