Wild West Fest: 25th Annual
It’s a bit early to have information about the 2016 Telluride Wild West Festival, but it’s not too early to book lodging. Many veteran festivarians book their condos and hotel rooms a year in advance and the town of Telluride is mostly sold out six months before the festival! Come back later for more information on this festival.
The Wild West Fest is a small festival specifically designed to share Telluride with 50 inner-city youth from Big Brother, Big Sisters of America and Boys & Girls Clubs from across the United States. During their week in Telluride, the boys and girls participate in drama, dance, horsemanship, fly-fishing, golf, and the Rock & Roll Academy.
The Wild West Fest was created by the Sheridan Arts Foundation, which raises $50,000 each year to run the program. Those interested in contributing and helping should contact the Sheridan Arts Foundation, (970) 728-6363.
