Spread the Love NOT the Virus

Please help us keep everyone safe by practicing the Five Commitments of Containment:
• Wear a mask
• Maintain six-feet of physical distance
• Minimize group size
• Wash hands frequently
• Stay home when sick and get tested

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Telluride community, our hearts go out to all those impacted by COVID-19. We are committed to doing our part to reduce the spread of this virus and hope you will join us in our mission. The virus is present in Tellluride and San Miguel County, and health officials advise locals and visitors to follow CDC and County guidelines and mandates to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

On Saturday, March 14, Governor Jared Polis issued an executive order to close all ski resorts in Colorado in an effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus. As a result, the Telluride Ski Resort is now closed for the season. Following the ski resort closures, the governor issued an order restricting restaurants and bars from providing dine-in service for 30 days, through April 16. San Miguel County recently extended this order through May 1. Delivery, take-out, curbside and drive through options are still available. Click here to view a list of restaurants offering take-out and/or delivery.

On March 18, San Miguel County initiated a shelter-in-place plan to keep the community insular, with the closure of hotels and short-term rentals through early May. For real-time information, please visit the San Miguel County website.

We will post further state and community updates on this page as needed. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this challenging time. Please stay connected to our social channels for Telluride inspiration and a dose of #telluridecalm.
