Telluride Mushroom Festival
36th Annual 2016 Telluride Mushroom Festival
It’s a bit early to have information about the 2016 Telluride Mushroom Festival, but it’s not too early to book lodging. Many veteran festivarians book their condos and hotel rooms a year in advance and the town of Telluride is mostly sold out six months before the festival! Come back later for more information on this festival.
About The Festival
Telluride has hosted the quirky Mushroom Festival for over 30 years. The festival is a celebration of all things fungal -- connoisseurs find themselves in good company amongst enthusiasts, experts, and scientists. Interests range from scientific to culinary, curiosity to investigative. Activities of the weekend include lectures by renowned experts, cooking with mushrooms, and guided hikes that focus on mushroom hunting and identification.
A full festival pass will run you $275 (+ $14.74 processing). There are also VIP tickets and tickets for various workshops.
