Telluride & Mountain Village

The Town of Telluride is designated as a National Historic District with characteristic Victorian architecture and historic buildings along Main Street in downtown Telluride. Telluride is home to a vast array of world class restaurants and shops located throughout the town. Telluride measures one mile from the east to the west end so everything is within walking distance. There is also a complimentary shuttle service called the Galloping Goose that loops through town throughout the day.

Mountain Village is a newer resort community with a distinct "core" that includes restaurants, shops, and the main base of the Telluride Ski Resort. The residences in Mountain Village are primarily vacation home and condominium rentals - most with direct access to the ski slopes and golf course.

The free gondola connects Telluride to Mountain Village with one of the most scenic public transportation routes in the world. The gondola begins at the base of Oak Street in Telluride and ends in the Mountain Village Core.
