The Telluride Literary Arts Festival is for readers, writers, and lovers of books! It is a celebration of reading and writing and an opportunity to get together to affirm this great pastime. Complete with performance poetry, author talks, literary burlesque, moderated panel discussions, and even events for kids!

Details on the 2018 festival have yet to be released. Please check back soon!

Unique to the 2017 LitFest: Featured guest is Lydia Peelle author of the recently released novel "The Midnight Cool." Her previous book, "Reasons For and Advantages of Breathing," was a New York Times Book Review Critics' Choice book and received an honorable mention for the PEN/Hemingway Award. There will also be an exhibition of the American Academy of Bookbindings "Open Set," and the awarding of the local Mark Fischer Prize for poetry, as well as a performance by former Western Slope Poet Laureate Aaron Abeyta, who won a Colorado Book Award for his collection "Colcha."
