*Cornet Creek Trail is closed in 2023 due to trail work and rockfall*

The Cornet Creek Trail is a short hike with a spectacular finish at the 80-foot Cornet Falls. The hike affords you beautiful views of the Telluride Ski Resort. Note that the hike requires some scrambling on loose soil and rock so wear sturdy shoes; Extreme winters have made this more difficult to traverse over the years. Don't be afraid to explore the view from different sides of the falls!

Directions: 

Begin at the top of North Aspen Street in the town of Telluride. Instead of taking a left at the Corner Creek Bridge as you would to access the Jud Wiebe Trail, continue straight and follow the trail to Cornet Falls.
