"This Is Colorado (In One Square Foot)" Community Art Project Exhibition

"This Is Colorado (In One Square Foot)" is a Community Art Project on display in Telluride and Mountain Village between June 24 - August 1. As part of the celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the USA and 150th Anniversary of the State of Colorado, Telluride Arts and the Telluride Historical Museum, with support from TMVOA, invited San Miguel County residents to respond to the prompt “What does being a Coloradan mean to you?” for a Community Art Project. Over 100 submissions from community members were received, and will be on display in a large-scale grid installation exhibited in Telluride and Mountain Village - forming a collective portrait of the region through diverse community voices.
