Tarantula Bill
Tarantula Bill is the psychedelic music project of Kendon McGehee, whose songwriting and production navigates an intricate balance between chaos and cohesion. Listeners are transported on a sonic journey that is equal parts exhilarating and hypnotic. As a live act, Kendon is joined by Daniel O'Connell (guitar), Joe Lovoi (bass), Jason Kaplan (drums), and Hunter Bates (synth/guitar).
In Plain Air is a psychedelic/alternative rock trio currently based in Denver, CO. Influenced by their love of garage rock, art rock, and jazz, In Plain Air started writing and performing in 2019.
Their debut EP Pillars is a sort of sample pack into the band’s sound. With fast paced garage rock songs like “Orca” and “Moa” and prog rock influences in songs like “Pillars” and “Estrella”, In Plain Air did not hesitate to explore many different directions in their style.
Their latest self produced EP, “Sunnyside” was a big step in maturity for the band. The trio began to utilize more synthesizers, ambient tape loops, and focused on emphasizing song structure in their writing. “A View From The End Of A Dream” is a prime example of the bands sound with dreamy vocal layers, hypnotic grooves, and chilling guitar leads. Whereas “Ratslap” and “Laika” are a nod to their debut with their relentless riffs and overall energy. The band has spent the majority of the past year on the road in the US supporting the new EP.
