PAR AVION explores the traditions of So Cal’s reverb-heavy instrumental surf music sound and rides that energy into a direction adding a distinct mix of rock, dance, Latin, and psychedelia. Bernard glides effortlessly between guitar and lap steel while Rebecca holds the groove down on bass. Timmy O'Neill seals the deal on drums and will be very much part of this summer's gig schedule.

Par Avion has performed at venues as diverse as Lightning in a Bottle and San Diego's Tiki Oasis. Being a California band at heart, they have also performed at various events hosted by the Surfrider Foundation, Patagonia, Hobie and Laguna Beach's Coast Film Festival, and bringing the stoke beyond to Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, Italy, and France. In April 2024, the band played out at sea as part of Summit at Sea and afterwards, Colorado's 5Point Film Fest to celebrate the film Premiere of "Don't Doubt the Trout" produced by Isabela Zawistowska and Cotopaxi and featuring Rebecca and Bernard as well as their music. Subsequent film festivals have included COAST in Laguna, CA and Wild and Scenic in Nevada City, CA. This lineup has even played in Chile, just earlier this year, for a Conserva Puchegüín event.

Mother Nature contributes as much to their art and lives as any other source. When not on stage, Bernard and Rebecca are being inspired in the field, mountains, and streams observing trout and their habitat as conservationists, earning recognition as California Trout, NRS, and Patagonia Fly Fishing Ambassadors. Timmy needs little introduction as an OG Patagonia athlete; one who has scaled more rock than most of us will ever dream of.

Bernard hails from a legacy of national acts including: The BellRays, El Vez, Astra Heights, Medicine, Fur Dixon, The MiGs, Pansy Division, The Insect Surfers, and the Fuzztones to name but a few.
