Returning to Colorado theaters after a highly successful inaugural season, Artistic Ventures in Dance invites you to join us for BOUNDLESS, an unforgettable evening marking our debut at the Michael D. Palm Theater. 

Artistic Director Emily Speed has curated a dramatic evening of classical and contemporary works by some of today’s most exciting choreographers, as well as a tribute to the legacy of American dance. 

Audiences will enjoy the cinematic quality of choreography of Alexa Rose Foundation awardee Daniel Ojeda’s acclaimed work, "Persona", with music by Marc Mellits, alongside Quinn Wharton's crowd favorite, "IMPULSE". To honor the rich history of classical dance, AVID presents Gerald Arpino's iconic "Confetti"—a timeless work that continues to inspire generations of dancers. The evening will include excerpts that showcase the unique versatility of AVID’s repertoire, and finally, the Colorado premiere of “Human.” by Cherice Barton. which was highly reviewed following its world premiere in NYC earlier this year. Barton’s choreography is accompanied by an original score by resident composer Anne-Marie Keane, promising a performance that gives audiences a fresh and thought-provoking experience through music & dance—one showcasing ART that MOVES.
