Gondola Closing Date Extended to October 21
The Town of Mountain Village, Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association and Town of Telluride have announced that the gondola’s fall closing date has been extended to Saturday, October 21.
The gondola was set to close at the end of the day on October 15, but the towns are teaming up to keep the mainline of the gondola open six days longer to enjoy fall. The extension will only include the mainline gondola between Telluride and Mountain Village; buses will be running between Market Plaza, Village Center and the Meadows.
The gondola will be in operation 6:30 a.m. to midnight through October 21 with extended hours weekends through mid-September. It will re-open November 17 for the winter season.
