Green to Gold in Telluride

Every season in Telluride is spectacular but fall takes it to a whole new level. The leaves are changing rapidly. Guests continue to ask about the peak of fall colors which seems to be happening later this year. Next week should be prime time for leaf peeping with the majority of hillsides transformed to golden yellows.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The photos below show the progression of colors. As you can see, there are still some large Aspen groves on the north facing slopes that are still green.
