Concierge at Bear Creek Lodge

Providing a warm welcome as the guests enter the Lodge. Is responsible for offering and coordinating the guest's requests. This includes: Checking in and our guests from the Lodge, providing information on anything and everything related to Telluride/Mountain Village, and offer any assistance to the guest's needs, booking walk in guests and money handling.

Essential Job Functions (listing most important first):

  • Ability to communicate with proper grammar to guests and co-workers.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (email)
  • Ability to compute mathematical calculations and to follow correct closing of paperwork procedures
  • Professional image that is a visible characteristics of a concierge and 4 star resorts.
  • Positive Attitude. Knowledge of Telluride.

Essential Job Requirements:

  • EDUCATION: 4 year Degree or equivalent experience
  • EXPERIENCE: Hospitality operations experience preferred
  • REQUIRED SKILLS: Ability to understand guest service needs. Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing guest service. Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
  • PREFERRED SKILLS: Hospitality background. Utilize good judgment with difficult guests. Ability to focus on attention to details. Leadership.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to climb stairs regularly and lift up to 20 pounds.
