Mountainside Inn

You won’t find a more economical lodging option in Telluride! Mountainside Inn is located just a few steps from Lift 7 and Lower Milk Run so there is no need for a car! Choose a kitchenette room and stay in and cook a few meals so you can later splurge on a steak at the Chop House. At Mountainside Inn you won’t forgo comfort. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the enormous hot tub after a day on the mountain. With plenty of jets for maximum enjoyment, this hot tub fits 8 people comfortably.

Inexpensive Activities to Do:

Winter Sports

Start at Telluride's Town Park and enjoy a quintessential winter activity - sledding! Bring your own sled and cruise down Firecracker Hill or rent a sled from the Telluride Nordic Center for $6 per day. While you are in Town Park, try out Nordic Skiing! Rent the full set up for Classic or Skate Skis for only $25. The best part? If you return the equipment by 11 am the following day you are only charged for a single day. Cruise the groomed Nordic track in Town Park or head up to Trout Lake to ski a more remote area.

Family Friendly

Bring the whole family up to Mountain Village and go ice skating at The Hotel Madeline. This large outdoor rink is open from 12pm – 8pm. Rent skates at the Hotel - $15 adults, $10 kiddos. If you are looking for an indoor family fun activity, visit the Telluride Historical Museum and learn about our rich history. Admission is free for children 5 and under and only $5 general admission. The Museum also hosts events such as the Lone Tree Cemetery Tour and a Historical Pub Crawl.
