The ski burn must have worked.  Thank you Quentin Terrantino and Samuel L Jackson for enticing Ullr, the Norse god of skiing, into making it snow.  Or maybe it was the Christian God and nonstop prayers from local skiers/snowboarders.  Whatever it was, everyone in Telluride is certainly thankful for the 66 inches of snowfall we have received in the past 2 weeks.

The ski contditions in Telluride right now are better than optimal and will remain so for the rest of the season.  As a local/powder snob it's one of those months you dream of.  As a visitor, the snow along with all the events packed into March makes for an unforgettable ski vacation.

The Subaru Freeride Series kicks off this weekend and features some of the world's best athletes competeing in the big mountain freeskiing and snowboarding competition.

March 10th-15th The Palm Theatre will host a special showing of Little Shop of Horrors.  The play will be put on by a cast of Telluride locals and showcase a nerdy florist who finds his chance for success and romance with the help of a large man-eating plant who demands to be fed.

The Pimps of Joytime return to Telluride and will perform at the Sheridan Opera House on March 13th.  They have played some of the biggest music festivals in the country and are bringing their sound of soul, funk, blues, rock and roll back to the box canyon.

On March 14th,  The String Cheese Incident keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth and his band are heading to Telluride and will perform at The Sheridan Opera House.  Tix are $25 general admission and $35 reserved seats in the balcony.

The 2nd annual Telluride Tribute Festival is back March 19th-21st and will feature cover bands performing Michael Jackson, Fteetwood Mac, and The Beatles.

Starting March 25th we are selling lift tickets for $63 through the end of the season!  That's right...$63!  To get the deal you have to purchase lodging through  Search lodging here or give us a call 877-358-7122 and speak with a Telluride local about adding the discounted lift tickets into your itinerary.

The Telluride Ski Resort will host the Mountain Town Get Down March 28th and 29th.  This free event features live music in the core of Mountain Village and a special performance by the Cold War Kids.
