Priest Lake
Priest Lake is located 8 miles south of Telluride on Hwy. 145, park at the USFS Ranger Station on the left-hand side of the road. This 8km groomed track for skate and diagonal skiing is appropriate for all levels. When trails are not crowded, dogs are welcome at Priest Lake - only with direct and constant owner supervision and control. On weekends, during special events or any time the trails are obviously busy, the Telluride Nordic Association requests that dog owners use the Trout Lake trails for skiing with their dogs.
