Meadows Trail

Meadows Trail

Fun, Easy Downhill Trail

The Meadows Area is a beautiful neighborhood in Mountain Village, adjacent to the Big Billies base area during ski season (bottom of Chair 10 and the Chondola/Chair 1). A variety of short trails lead to and from the Meadows, and many can be connected to other trails in Mountain Village for longer outings. This is also a great snowshoeing option in the winter.

  • Jurassic Trail - A scenic one-mile trail that begins on the north side of Country Club Drive in Mountain Village. Located to the left of the Mountain Village Boomerang trailhead, which allows you to access the Telluride Valley Floor.
  • Big Billies Trail -  A refreshing 1/2 mile trail beginning on the south side of Country Club Drive in Mountain Village that winds down 200 feet and ends at Big Billie’s Apartments in the Meadows.

Directions:

The trail starts just west of the Big Billies Apartments on Adams Ranch Road in Mountain Village. It drops 450 feet to the Telluride Valley Floor and also accesses the Lawson Hill Neighborhood. Parking at the trailhead is limited.
