Starting from Bear Creek Trail in Telluride, hike up two miles till you see the Wasatch Trailhead on your right. Take this trail and you'll climb a steep section heading towards the old Nellie Mine and Nellie Valley. After a steep ascent, you'll come to a fork in the trail. Turning right will take you to the Telluride Ski Resort Area: Gold Hill, Revelation Bowl and eventually See Forever ski trail which you can hike down to the San Sophia station. Left at the fork will keep you on the East Fork of the Wasatch Loop heading over a saddle and eventually putting you out near Wasatch Mountain. You can hike down La Junta Basin back to Bear Creek Trail or continue east heading towards Bridal Veil Falls. These are both long hikes so make sure you pack enough water!
