Snowshoeing is the perfect day-off activity from skiing, and a great way to get out in the mountains and experience the scenery Telluride has to offer. Take a guided group or private tour with San Juan Outdoor School and learn about rich natural and cultural history of the Majestic San Juan mountain range. Telluride Ski Resort also offers group or private tours guided by expert naturalists. 

Make Your Own Tracks

If you prefer to explore on your own, you can snowshoe around the trails shown below. Please stay off groomed ski tracks as we want the trails free of bumps. You can rent snowshoes at Bootdoctors or at the Wilkinson Public Library (for library cardholders only).
