See Forever is actually a combination of a few trails that make up one scenic loop! The hike starts from the San Sophia gondola station and ascends up a ski hill to the stunning views below. You'll get plenty of waterfalls and also see Bear Creek Falls on this hike!
Distance: 8.4 miles round-trip
Elevation Gain: 1,600 feet
Time: 5 hours
This hike starts at the San Sophia gondola station in the Telluride Ski Area. Continue up a gravel ski access road for .4 miles until you see a forest service sign on the left side of the road across from a snowmaking pond. The trail briefly goes through trees before emerging on the See Forever ski run, where there is a steep set of steps that traverses up the hill. Continue up the steep See Forever run (total of 2.75 miles) until you see the Wasatch Connector trail on the left. For a more extreme view, continue straight for .3 miles to the Gold Hill chutes, which is also known as the "Stairway to Heaven" in the summer.
To continue the loop, follow the Wasatch Connector Trail through the Revelation Ski Bowl. There are abundant wildflowers here in the summer. Continue down a set of switchbacks until you hit the Bear Creek Falls Trail. If you want to see the falls, a .6 mile round-trip detour goes to the base of the falls. The rest of the hike is a simple 2-mile wide dirt track down Bear Creek Falls.
