  • Ice Skating

    There's not one, but two ice rinks in Telluride, and one in Mountain Village, which makes a total of three in the area. The Telluride iconic Town Park has both an outdoor rink and the Andy Hanley Ice Rink/Pavilion (inside rink). If you haven't ice skated outside before, you must. If conditions are sufficient, the outdoor rink offers stunning skating (and memories to last a lifetime - for the whole family) surrounded by snow-capped mountains.   • Nordic Skiing

    In the winter months, one of the best ways to explore the area is on Nordic skis. Telluride boasts miles of trails for your Telluride ski vacation enjoyment; some of our favorites are the Valley Floor Loop and Town Park. The Valley Floor Loop is a 6-km loop of beginner terrain winds along the Valley Floor one mile west of town. This loop may be accessed from the San Miguel River Trail (heading west), or from behind the Shell station on Hwy. 145.
