Full Tilt Telluride 2012

High-speed, adrenaline-fueled, endurance-seeking mountain biking is synonymous with Full Tilt in Telluride, a tried-and-true race hosted by the Town of Mountain Village. In its fifth year, Full Tilt returns August 10 through August 12 as part of the 2012 Mountain States Cup Series (MSC), the only full-discipline mountain bike race series in the Rocky Mountains. Full Tilt in Telluride is home to this year's MSC Series Championships and Colorado State Championships. Lift tickets are free for every rider! Click here for course descriptions.

Interested riders should register for Full Tilt online at racemsc.com. The online registration deadline is Wednesday, August 8 at 11:59 p.m. Printable forms are also available for download on the MSC website. On-site registration will be available at Tracks Café & Bar in Mountain Village beginning Friday, August 10 at 8 a.m. and continuing through the weekend! The cost to compete in Full Tilt ranges from $30 to $65, depending on the event, category and class. Riders who sign up for two races receive $5 off. Sign up for three, and MSC will take an additional $5 off the total.

To add to the competition, Mountain Village is calling all photographers – amateur and pro – to “like” Mountain Village’s Facebook page – and then upload photos of the weekend event to the page. The town will choose the best posted image which will be printed on canvas as a gift to the winning photographer.

In addition, the Town of Mountain Village will provide live race coverage for Saturday and Sunday for those who can’t make the event. Broadcast times will be noted online.

“With Mountain Village’s dedication to all things mountain biking, the town teamed up with Full Tilt’s operation crew and organizer Bigfoot Productions to bring a stellar event to the region,” said Community Relations Manger Nichole Zangara Riley. “This event pushes boundaries and challenges even the toughest rider. As for the spectators, they will have the rare opportunity to get a birds-eye view into some of the best mountain biking Colorado has to offer.”
