Ah Haa Art School

Founded in 1990 by book artist Daniel Tucker, the Ah Haa School’s desire is to provide an environment to inspire “ah haa” (the sound of inspiration) moments for any artist at any age or level of experience. They offer year-round programming for all ages taught by local and national instructors, thought-provoking exhibitions, art abroad programs and visiting artist workshops. Through their umbrella organizations, Telluride Writer’s Guild and American Academy of Bookbinding they offer lectures, workshops and bookbinding, respectively.

Ah Haa School is located in the resort community of Telluride, Colorado. In 2007, Ah Haa School moved from the Silver Bell Building into Telluride’s turn-of-the-century train depot located at 300 South Townsend Avenue.
