Town Park

Located on the east edge of Telluride, toward the head of the valley is Town Park. This is a place to have civilized relaxation and organized sports. Town Park boasts a wide variety of summer and winter sport venues. When there is no snow on the ground, one can play baseball, basketball, tennis, or use the Telluride half pipe skate facility. There is also enough room to just play frisbee or catch.

When there is snow on the ground, one can cross-country ski, play broom-ball, ice-skate, or play ice hockey.

Town Park is also the site of many of Telluride's largest festivals. From its stage, world class acts have played to happy music lovers. The local repertory theater has also performed many plays in Town Park, both original and classic.

While not in the center of Telluride, Town Park is in many ways the heart of Telluride.
