The Wild West Fest is a small festival specifically designed to share Telluride with 50 inner-city youth from Big Brother Big Sisters of America and Boys & Girls Clubs.   Children travel from acorss the United States to participate in this week of programming.  During the week in Telluride, the boys and girls participate in drama, dance, horsemanship, fly-fishing, golf, and the Rock & Roll Academy.

The Wild West Fest was created by the Sheridan Arts Foundation, which raises $50,000 each year to run the program.  People interested in helping should contact the Sheridan Arts Foundation at 970-728-6363.
