Telluride Playwrights Festival - 2013 Dates TBD

The Telluride Playwright’s Festival is designed for playwrights, actors, and directors to meet and work on new plays.  The festival goers collaborate to improve raw plays and culminates with staged readings at the Sheridan Opera House.  The public is encouraged to participate in a feedback session.

Even thought this is a relatively new festival, plays featured at past Playwright’s Festivals have gone on to be produced in larger cities such as Denver, New York, and Chicago.  These plays are truly “Made in Telluride.”
