Ski rental shops and lift ticket offices are located at the base of lifts #4, #7, #8, and the gondola.  Lift tickets can often be purchased in advance at a discount by calling one of our vacation consultants at 877-358-7122.  Also, as a customer of Telluride.com, you are entitled to a discount on rentals if they are booked in advance.  The ski school is located near the Mountain Village gondola station by the base of lift #4. 

All beginning ski runs are on the Mountain Village side of the mountain as are most intermediate runs.  The Telluride Trail intermediate run serves the Telluride side of the mountain.  However, all the remaining runs on the Telluride side are advanced intermediate or expert runs.  With the exception of the gondola (which serves both sides of the mountain), all lifts on the Telluride side are older and slower.  However, locals flock to this side of the mountain for long runs and the smaller crowds.  Watch out on a powder day - locals tend to call in "sick" and hang out on lift #9.
