The community of Telluride has always been very pet friendly.  Most locals own a dog or cat…or more than one of each.  It’s rare to walk around town and “miss” the diversity of canines accompanying their owners.  We welcome pets and respect the need for properties that allow them.   

Telluride Alpine Lodging has the largest selection of pet friendly accommodations in the region (see some of the possibilities below).  You can stay in a pet friendly hotel room…affordably, or you can stay in a high end condo.  You’re not limited to one kind of accommodation – the options are many.  There are some condominium complexes that Homeowner Association rules prevent pets in general so there are some choices that may not be available.  Our vacation consultants can help you select the right pet friendly rental.  

While outside on the slopes or enjoying a festival – there are pet sitting services available  which we are happy to help you arrange.  There is also a local Vet clinic in the town of Telluride should the need arise.  Many shops in the area allow dogs inside, while puppy parking and bowls of water of often offered outside.   

Please be aware, with all pet rooms, we will charge a non-refundable pet fee of $30.00 per night.  The River Club Residence Club charges $150.00 per reservation fee, which covers the entire stay.
