Telluride Horror Show Festival - October 12-14, 2012

October 12, 13, 14, 2012 marks the 3rd Annual Telluride Horror Show, a 3-day genre film festival in world-famous mountain town of Telluride, Colorado. For three days, genre fans will experience the latest horror, fantasy, and sci-fi films in Telluride's historic Sheridan Opera House and Nugget Theatre. The festival screens an average of 18 feature films and 20+ short films, and hosts special programs, guests, and a party or two. If you love genre flicks then you don't want to miss this fest. Named one of the "20 Coolest Film Festivals" in 2011 by Moviemaker Magazine.

In late summer, the films and schedule will be announced, so keep a look out! The festival will feature films as well as special events, such as the “Hannibal Lectar Race” What exactly is this race? Well, it is a race with two-man teams. One of you, dressed as a cop, races down Telluride’s main street, pushing your teammate on a dolly, who’s dressed as Hannibal. The winners get a bottle of Chianti and some fava beans. Woo! Tons of more crazy fun events will be announced later this summer.
