The Telluride Ski Resort opened on December 2 in the midst of a storm that dropped two feet of snow on Telluride. In the last seven days, the ski area has seen 26.8 inches of snow, making conditions ideal for additional terrain to be opening soon. The Telluride Ski Resort plans to reveal a mountain update on Thursday, Dec. 7 that will include details on additional terrain, lifts, and timeline.

There is an additional storm forecasted for this weekend, with six-plus inches of snow forecasted.
