Wednesday, March 7th Los Lonely Boys in concert – get ready for an upbeat, rockin’ show this Wednesday night. Los Lonely Boys – an American Chicano rock trio from Texas – are back in Telluride for the first time since they headlined the 2008 Telluride Blues & Brews Festival in Town Park. The three brothers – Henry, Jojo and Ringo – are ready to bring their Texican Rock n’ Roll style to the small 250 person, intimate & historic Sheridan Opera House. Thursday, March 8thFeasts of Spring – Join Dr. Susanna Hoffman for another night of free food demonstrations, folklore and samplings at the Wilkinson Public Library. She will be discussing foods for the Ides of March that include: Frascati Wine, chick peas in balsamic vinegar bruschettas, skewered chicken cooked with onions and moscato, pasta amatriciana with pancetta and pecorino roman and ricotta cheesecake. Friday, March 9thGoin’ Cowboy at the Opera – The Telluride Adaptive Sports Program needs your help to make more possible for adaptive athletes. Friday night they will host a live auction featuring the Vanishing Breed Band at the Sheridan Opera House in order to raise money for their wonderful non-profit. Doors open at 6:00pm and Live Auction at 7:30pm. $40 per person in advance, $50 at the door. Good times, good music… all for a good cause! Sunday, March 11th and Monday, March 12thLeftover Salmon in concert – FESSSTIVALLLL! Well… not yet. But, it will feel like Bluegrass Festival  this weekend when we welcome back our Colorado friends, Leftover Salmon, at the historic Sheridan Opera House. Leftover Salmon is excited to announce their lengthiest tour since Spring 2004… and we’re honored to have them back in our little box canyon. “We’re really fired up to get back on the road and turn up the slamgrass” says Vince Herman. Wednesday, December 21st & Thursday, December 22ndFox on the Fairway – Jeb Berrier and the Sheridan Arts Foundation present the annual Second Stage holiday play. This year’s show is a tribute from Ken Ludwig (Lend Me A Tenor, Moon Over Buffalo) to the great English farces of the 1930s and 1940s, The Fox on the Fairway. Jeb and his local cast are hilarious. And it's the last two nights to catch the show! Tickets are $16 and the show starts at 8:00pm at the Sheridan Opera House.

          


Wednesday, December 21stTaking Root – The Wilkinson Public Library will host another FREE film: “Taking Root: The Vision of Wangari Maathai”. This film documents the dramatic political confrontations of the 1980s and 1990s in Kenya. Thursday, December 22ndWAR HORSE – Steven Spielberg’s brand spankin’ new epic adventure will make an exclusive screening to the Telluride community. Young Albert enlists to service in WWI after his beloved horse, Joey, is sold to the cavalry. Albert's journey takes him out of England and across Europe as the war rages on. Great book and it's going to be a GREAT movie with Spielberg behind the camera. This holiday sneak peek is presented by Disney and the Kennedy Marshall Company. Friday, December 23rdWarren Miller Ski Film – Travis Julia Presents: Warren Miller’s “Like There’s No Tomorrow” ski film at the Sheridan Opera House. This adrenaline-fueled, action-packed, powder-slaying film will sure get you excited about the winter ahead.
