Little Hurricane Performs LIVE at the Sheridan Opera House TONIGHT (Thursday, September 13th, 2012)!

Celeste “C.C.” Spina, a cook and bartender, put out an add on Craigslist looking for like-minded musicians and Anthony “Tone” Catalano, impressed by a woman on the drums, struck an interest. The two turned out to be practically neighbors, living just up the street from one another in North Park, San Diego. Stricking up a blues-jazz collaborative, the two have a raw sound and lyrics that tap into some of the more difficult aspects of life: death, age, loneliness, lies. Little Hurricane says about themselves, “We’re small, but we’re powerful.” Their major influences include Van Morrison, Carole King, George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic. C.C. has been playing the drums since age ten where she got started in school band. Keep an ear out for “Homewrecker” probably the duos most recognizable song and check out the video below off their debut album.
