Nadine On The Scene... in Telluride!

Posted on September 11, 2012 by Sophie

Nadine loves everything lifestyle.  She enjoys taste-testing new restaurants, exploring new places, researching the latest beauty buzz, and getting to know influential A-listers. And recently... she has loved everything TELLURIDE. Nadine Bubeck from KPHO CBS 5 News out of Phoenix, Arizona has skipped the heat and humidity of the big city and vacationed in the cool mountains of Telluride to check off a couple of her bucket list items.

Follow Nadine's adventures as she dines at the delicious Sheridan Chop House here in downtown Telluride. "It's very chic, inviting, and satisfying to taste buds":
...and spends an overnight adventure at our very own, The River Club:

Telluride's Via Ferrata

Posted on June 6, 2012 by Hart
Italian for "Road of Iron", a Via Ferrata is an extreme traverse/climb equipped with fixed cables and iron pegs on the side of a mountain. Telluride's Via Ferrata towers you over the box canyon with 200+ foot drops and gorgeous views of Bridal Veil Falls, town and more. Check out the video our friends at The River Club made while hiking this spectacular traverse!

Urban River Club LLC Offers Three Year Test Drive

Posted on May 15, 2012 by Hart

Who says there are no guarantees in real estate? Now, with purchase at the River Club in Telluride, Colorado, there is! With fewer than 100 ownership opportunities, Seller Urban River Club, LLC, makes the dream of vacation ownership in Telluride a reality and lifetime of enjoyment. Imagine having three years from the date of contract to sell back for the price paid! Broker associate Mitzi Mallard feels this is an incredible opportunity. “What other real estate purchase allows for a three year test drive!”

Telluride, a beautiful community located in the San Juan Mountains, is world-renowned for many reasons. First class skiing (top 10 in North America), amazing music festivals (Bluegrass, Jazz, Blues & Brews), and the Telluride Film Festival (which included nine of the films receiving Academy Award nominations and awards this year) name only a few. But Telluride is more than just first class skiing and a summer filled with festivals. It is a community built around history. A visit to the local museum gives visitors a peek into Telluride’s rough and rowdy past filled with mining, bank robberies, and ladies of the night. Fortunately, Telluride has retained its appearance, character and appeal that calls to visitors and keeps them coming back.

As one might imagine, real estate in this majestic community does not come at a small price. While many returning visitors have chosen rental for their accommodation needs, others have sought a more permanent arrangement. As the premier fractional, private residence club in the Town of Telluride, second home owners have found a reprieve from the high costs and care associated with second homeownership and uncertainty that comes with rentals. River Club owners find joy and relaxation from a property with exceptional service, a caring community, financially strong owners association and complimentary ski and golf privileges while in-residence.

Why a three year buyback? Because some buyers remain cautious to invest in real estate during a recovering economy. A three year buyback provides an exit strategy. Additionally, with the River Club’s high ownership satisfaction, Urban River Club, LLC, is confident that new owners will be thrilled with their purchase decision and have no desire to sell back their ownership. “The River Club is such a wonderful, relaxing environment for us…. Every consideration and kindness seems to come easily to all who host us. I know that this takes considerable planning and effort. Thank you so much for having good people who really do shine at what they do!” Chuck Chambers, Owner since 2009

Purchase prices range from $51,250 to $341,500, and provide the perfect option for anyone considering second home ownership in Telluride. For additional information, please visit the River Club website. If you’d like an opportunity to stay at the River Club this summer and experience firsthand why owners are so excited about their purchase decision, please call 970-369-5200.

The River Club is a private residence club offering deeded fractional interests in the club to its owners and is classified as a "timeshare plan" under Arizona law. This is not intended to be an offer to sell, or a solicitation of offers to acquire, a unit in the River Club Condominiums development, with respect to residents of Alaska, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, or of any other jurisdiction where prohibited by law. Warning: The California department of real estate has not inspected, examined, or qualified this offering.

Blog from our Telluride Blues & Brews Contest Winner, Jon.

Posted on September 21, 2011 by Hart
We teamed up with Telluride Blues & Brews & The River Club to run a Facebook contest for a FREE 4-night stay at The River Club for the 2011 festival weekend. Our big winner was Jon Pierson from Albuquerque, NM and to say he was ecstatic... would be a HUGE understatement! He was kind enough to write up a blog and video from his experiences in Telluride, check it out:

"We did it!  Woo hoo!  My fourth Telluride Blues and Brews Festival is in the bag, but I have to say this one was very, VERY special for two specific reasons.  The first was that I was able to bring my five month old Benjamin to his second music festival, the first being the (also awesome) Taos Mountain Music Festival in New Mexico and his first trip to Telluride.  So he was primed for some great music and a weekend in a beautiful setting, and so was I.  The second thing that made this particular trip to Telluride so incredible was that we were the big winners of 4 nights’ accommodations at The River Club, a “luxurious, Private Residence Club in the Town of Telluride.”  Thanks to Telluride.com and their Facebook page, we learned about the contest, and figured why not give it a shot.  We had camping passes already purchased (and lots of warm clothes!) as a backup plan.  The Monday before the festival, I got a voicemail saying we had won the contest.  To say we were ecstatic would be to put it lightly.

We packed up, said bye to my wife who sadly couldn’t make the trip and on Thursday made the 6 hour (8 with a baby) drive from Albuquerque to Telluride.  We arrived late, though the staff made our check in as smooth as possible, and within 1 hour of arrival I had Benny asleep in a beautiful crib, provided by the River Club, so we could rest up for the first day of Blues and Brews!  The two bedroom suite was absolutely gorgeous, and so much easier than camping with the little one in such frigid temps!  The staff was beyond accommodating, every single person we met was kind and helpful and I could not think of a place I would rather stay in Telluride than The River Club.  Boy was it nice.  Musical highlights of the weekend included moe., Anders Osborne, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, obviously the Flaming Lips, and Benny’s favorite, Willie Nelson!  He was making little sounds through Willie’s whole set; I think he was trying to sing along.  It was too cute.  Having the accommodations so close to the festival made it a piece of cake to go to and from.  And Benny saw his first snowflake Saturday during the glorious beer tasting.  Have to say my personal favorite was the Santa Fe Brewing Company’s Happy Camper IPA though there were many, many delicious beers to sample.  What a time!

We had so much fun, and are so grateful that we won the contest.  Here’s a little thank you video, and some pictures for you to enjoy. Benny was a huge hit, everyone loved him.  It was such a family friendly festival!  Thank you for all the love, and the wonderful experience.  We’ll be back!

CHEERS!

-Jon Pierson"
