farmer's market

This Week in Telluride

Posted on August 15, 2012 by katherine
Well, it may be hump day already but the week is just getting started! The sun is shining, the influx of festivarians (of all sorts) are starting to arrive, and it's looking like another beautiful weekend will grace us here in Telluride, Colorado. With only two weeks left of my summer in "never never land," I myself am trying to enjoy every ounce of this wonderful place!

So far this work week i've played with puppies on Main Street, had lunch by Chair 8 (while dreaming of ski season), gone for a run on the river trail, and saw a movie at the Nugget. This weekend I plan to watch and learn a little at the Mushroom Festival, hike Ajax peak, buy produce from the Farmer's Market, paruse the Festival of the Arts, and drink some Margs at the Buck. If i'm lucky, i'll convince someone to take me fly fishing. And how could I forget? USA Pro Cycling Challenge rolls thru on Monday. Packin' it all in folks, that's how we do it in Telluride!

Other events to check out this week:

Free Sunset Concert Series in Mountain Village (15th)
Batman The Dark Night at the Nugget (17th-23rd)
30th Annual Blizzard Sale at Telluride Sports (17th-20th)
Telluride Chamber Music Festival (now-19th)
KOTO Radio Garage Sale (18th)
