Thursday, June 6th – Telluride Art Walk – The First Thursday Art Walk is a festive celebration of the arts in downtown Telluride for art lovers, community and friends. 15 venues host receptions from 5-8pm to introduce their new exhibitions and artists. Start at the Stronghouse Studios on 283 South Fir Street and pick up a map for a self-guided tour. For more info, click here


Thursday, June 6th – Salasee and the Fafa Family concert – Fly Me to the Moon Saloon is featuring a live concert with Salasee and the Fafa Family – original pop roots reggae and West African dance music. Doors open at 8pm, show starts at 10pm. Tickets are $7. Come get your dance on!

Friday, June 7th – Telluride Farmers Market – the bustling scene of local and organic food, artisanal goods and prepared meals, starts up for the summer this Friday on South Oak Street. The market takes place 11am-4pm and will run every Friday through mid-October. Stroll through for some delicious produce and speak with all the friendly vendors. For more info, click here

Friday, June 7th – Lord Huron concert – The Sheridan Arts Foundation presents a FREE concert with Los Angeles based band, Lord Huron. This concert is presented as part of the 22nd annual Wild West Fest, a week-long gathering of underprivileged youth from Boys and Girls Clubs from around the country. Saturday, June 8th – Ride the Rockies – Telluride is honored to host the 28th annual tour start in beautiful downtown this weekend as bikers prepare for 513 miles and over 20,000 vertical feet of biking through beautiful Colorado. Enjoy a street party, live music from DJ T-MUNZ and The Great Funktier, kid’s activities, beer garden, contests and much more on Main Street from 1:00-9:30pm in downtown Telluride. With the ski resort set to open on Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 22nd - films, concerts and events are gearing up all over town to help get this party started. Thursday, November 15thTeton Gravity Research Presents “Further” and “The Dream Factory” – Just as the temperatures drop and snow falls on the peaks, Teton Gravity Research and the Sheridan Arts Foundation presents a double feature with its newest films “Further” and “The Dream Factory” on Thursday, Nov. 15. “Further” screens at 6 p.m. and “The Dream Factory” screens at 8 p.m. “Further” is the second installment in the Jeremy Jones snowboard movie trilogy, Deeper, Further, Higher, presented by O’Neil. Further explores some of the world’s most remote mountain terrain while continuing Jones’ mission to camp deep in the backcountry and on the summits of unridden lines in such far-flung locales as Japan, Norway, Austria, Alaska and California. “Dream Factory” features TGR’s team delving deep into the Alaskan way of life, finding the best snow on earth and skiing the terrain that most of us only dream about. Friday, November 16thNappy Roots concert – “Awnaw! Hell naw! Man. Y’all done up and done it”! That’s right… Nappy Roots will bring their southern rap rhythms to Honga’s Roma Bar this Friday night. Tickets are $25 and are very limited… so, swing by Honga’s anytime this week, after 5:30pm, to pick your ticket up. Hopefully this is just the beginning of the historic Roma Bar’s comeback!

Saturday, November 17thTurkey Bingo – the annual (and awesome) Turkey Bingo at the Elks Lodge is back! Definitely one of the best nights of the off-season. The Lodge will open at 4pm with Kids Bingo from 4-6pm. Hot turkey sandwich dinner for kids = $4. And don’t miss the Adult Bingo: 7-10pm. Anders loves Telluride. He's pretty much a local. After ripping one of the best Halloween shows I've been to in a long time in 2011 AND fresh off his rockin' performance on Town Park stage at the 19th annual Telluride Blues & Brews Festival... Anders Osborne is back. The 37th annual KOTO Halloween Bash will take place Friday, October 26th at the Telluride Conference Center with our good ol' NOLA friend. This is sure to be another huge party. Last year, he and Karl Denson put on a hellova performance in Hanley Pavilion down in Town Park. So, get your Yeti outfit, your Honey Boo Boo outfit, your politician attire or fired Big Bird outfit and come to the Halloween Bash this year in Telluride. You won't regret it.

Your favorite local radio station, KOTO, has just announced its summer Doo-Dah concert set for Sunday, July 8th... this summer reggae singer Ziggy Marley and electro-fusion band Beats Antique will grace Town Park stage.

Thursday, March 15th - Tuesday, March 20th - 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee - Telluride Theatre presents the 25th Annual Spelling Bee at Putnam Valley Middle School - competition is fierce, there's a lot on the line and its the time of life (puberty) where things just happen. Winner of two Tony Awards, the musical comedy follows 6 quirky adolescents who compete in a Spelling Bee, run by three equally-quirky adults. This hilarious Spring musical is back for 6 nights at the Palm Theatre! Shows start at 7:30pm, tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children under 16 (PG-13). Friday, March 16thTaste of Latin Flavor – The Sheridan Arts Foundation (SAF) presents its winter fundraiser: A Taste of Latin Flavor! This evening of food, drink and entertainment includes delicious tapas, Latin American wines, saucy music and a live Tango performance by professional dancers.
