Friday, December 14thTele Team Fundraiser & Party – The Telluride Telemark Team is hosting its inaugural fundraiser at the historic Sheridan Opera House on Friday. Telluride TV’s short films and the ski film, “Let’s Go”, will be featured from 7:00-9:30pm. Swag giveaways, door prizes, silent auction items and more will help get the party started! Tickets are $10. Then… starting at 10pm, party down at the Telluride Telemark Team Gaper Party with Lorin Walker Madsen and the Hustlers… followed by a DJ. Saturday, December 15thWorld Cup Ladies’ & Men’s Team Finals – Lower Misty Maiden will host the final race event of the 2012 Telluride World Cup this Saturday as the Ladies and Men team up for an exciting Team Snowboardcross (SBX) event. The Ladies’ and Men’s Team Finals will run from 1:00-2:15pm directly under Lift #4 at the Telluride Ski Resort. After the race, join local funk band, The Great Funktier, for a closing ceremony party in the Mountain Village Core. Come cheer and party with these World athletes!

The Great Funktier, your favorite local band, is playing a FREE show at The Buck tonight at 9:00pm. Also, look out for them opening up the KOTO Street Dance Friday afternoon on Main Street. Good times around the bend!
