Here are some alpenglow shots that I took while approaching Telluride. The Halloween storm has passed after laying down over 14" of snow on the area. The Kids Halloween Parade was not as cold as we had anticipated, so all the ghouls and goblins took their time making their way up and down Main St.

Telluride is in the midst of receiving up to 2 FEET of fresh snow in the first arctic cold front to swing through the San Juans of SW Colorado. Temperatures began to drop and winds picked up yesterday afternoon in advance of mother nature's grand entrance.
