Telluride's First Major Winter Storm of the Season

Telluride is in the midst of receiving up to 2 FEET of fresh snow in the first arctic cold front to swing through the San Juans of SW Colorado.  Temperatures began to drop and winds picked up yesterday afternoon in advance of mother nature's grand entrance.  The mountain is reporting 7 inches of the white stuff, with the strongest part of the front yet to approach.  the pictures below depict the morning Main St. scene as the dump was coming at 2" per hour.  At mid day, the sun poked out for the lunch hour, only to disappear behind approaching storm clouds again.
