Random Thoughts From Telluride

You know those plastic lids you get for your fountain sodas that have the compressions for "coke", "diet", "dr. pepper", "pepsi" on them so you can tell which drink is supposed to be yours?  Does anyone actually use those anymore?  I always drink the orange soda, and there never is a button for that one.  I wonder why.  Orange soda is delicious!
OK now I'm thirsty.  I might head down to the Telluride Sweet Life for a Corndog and a soda!

Ever wonder why they bother putting a "open door" and "close door" button on elevators?  They never work, and you just end up standing there hitting the button over and over until it actually opens or closes on it's own.

I don't understand the purpose of the line, "I don't need to drink to
have fun." Great, no one does. But why start a fire with flint and
sticks when they've invented the lighter?

On that note, have a happy start to the Bluegrass Festival this week!

Do you remember when you were a kid, playing Nintendo and it wouldn't work? You take the cartridge out, blow in it and that would magically fix the problem. Every kid in America did that, but how did we all know how to fix the problem? There was no internet or message boards or FAQ's. We just figured it out. Today's kids are soft.

It's time to put down the game controllers and get outside anyway!  THe flowers are blooming and the weather is gorgeous!
