Buses
From May 24 through October 7, the town of Telluride provides free in-town transportation with the Galloping Goose bus system. These copper-colored buses loop downtown Telluride every 20 minutes from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The counterclockwise route runs along Pacific Avenue and Colorado Avenue (main street). Designated bus stops are located at the gondola plaza (Station Telluride), the library, the main post office, Town Park turnaround, Pine Street, the county courthouse, the high school, the Shandoka turnaround, Coonskin and Telluride Medical Center. The bus will also stop at any street corner on the route. Buses also serve the outlying communities of Lawson Hill, Down Valley and Norwood. The bus will also run Saturday and Sunday during the following festival weekends: MountainFilm, Bluegrass, Wine Fest, Jazz Fest, Film Fest and Blues and Brews.
